Meditation is a way of life. Meditation means having awareness of all your thoughts. Whatever you do with awareness is meditation. It describes a state of consciousness where the mind is free of all the mixed thoughts, and is able to concentrate on just one. The Inner Space Centre for Training in Meditation and Self Development (Abu Dhabi) is an organisation that provides courses, seminars, lectures and workshops in meditation, positive values, stress free living and self management to individuals and companies. All activities are free of charge as we believe people should not have to pay for peace of mind.

In our current world, the awareness of human beings is very limited. As long as they’re attached to appearances, they’re unaware that their mind is empty. And by mistakenly clinging to the appearance of things, they lose the way.
Is seeing really believing? When we use our two eyes we are often deceived. Together with the physical eyes we have to learn how to use our third eye, the eye of the intellect. In this workshop we shall explore how to activate and use this special sight. What changes can we expect to occur in our lives when the intellect becomes clean and clear?

Arabic Workshop,

Non Violent Communication & Meditation, 29 April 2017, 2.30-5.30pm
Developing daily awareness to create compassion towards yourself and others, we will share 2 tools to choose a nonviolent response to life: NVC and meditation.
The goal of NVC is to create a dialogue that respects all the needs, it’s a communication process based on genuine expression and empathy. Created and developed by Marshall Rosenberg, NVC today flourishes in 60 countries. NVC helps us connect with each other and ourselves, in a way that allows our natural compassion to flourish. It guides us to reframe the way we express ourselves and listen to others by focusing our consciousness on four areas: what we are observing, feeling, and needing and what we are requesting to enrich our lives. NVC helps you to more easily resolve conflicts, get what you want without demands, hear the needs of others, strengthen your personal and professional relationship and live your fullest potential.
Meditation is a way of life. Meditation means having awareness of all your thoughts. Whatever you do with awareness is meditation. It describes a state of consciousness where the mind is free of all the mixed thoughts, and is able to concentrate on just one thought and feeling. Meditation gently guides us towards pure and non-violent thoughts that originate from the real self.

Spiritual Intelligence – 3-7 May
An opportunity to discuss, explore and experience aspects that deepen a spiritual lifestyle. A 5 day residential retreat set in the idyllic beauty of Greece. In this retreat we will explore the art of Spiritual Intelligence (SQ): of appreciating and using spiritual information to create a more positive and naturally happy lifestyle. Signs of high SQ include the ability to maintain your inner contentment in spite of outer circumstances, to sustain positive energy and motivation to encourage others. Whereas IQ and EQ allow one to understand emotions and external factors; SQ, when developed, enables a deeper understanding of the subtle dimensions underlying situations in order to respond effectively. In this retreat you will learn how to recognize and deal with your expectations and attachments that ultimately block your experience of inner happiness. Through meditation, reflection, discussions and workshops, this retreat will provide you with an opportunity to understand yourself and create deep change.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? Anyone who has completed the first 3 lessons of the Beginners Meditation Course @ Inner Space Centre and is interested in their own personal transformation is welcome to register. A briefing session will be offered to the participants prior to departure.
