Meditation is a way of life. Meditation means having awareness of all your thoughts. Whatever you do with awareness is meditation. It describes a state of consciousness where the mind is free of all the mixed thoughts, and is able to concentrate on just one. The Inner Space Centre for Training in Meditation and Self Development (Abu Dhabi) is an organisation that provides courses, seminars, lectures and workshops in meditation, positive values, stress free living and self management to individuals and companies. All activities are free of charge as we believe people should not have to pay for peace of mind.

BEGINNERS MEDITATION COURSES

The courses provides a practical method of meditation that helps people better understand inner strengths and values and put them into practice into their own lives. Meditation is a simple technique of learning how to reprogram the mind to think in a more positive and effective way. The most profound calm and serenity lies at the core of our own well being.

Arif Dawood has worked as an Operations Manager in the corporate sector in Abu Dhabi for the past 22 years. Arif has been exploring the workings of the mind and how to maximize using our inner resources to create positive results in our lives. A father of 2 children, Arif has been a student, teacher and founding member at Inner Space Centre for 7 years and enjoys sharing his life experiences to help others explore true peace of mind and harmonious relationships. Arif is also a Wellness Facilitator for Executives looking for deep transformation in their lives.

Zaheer Nasser is a zentreprenuer, born and raised in London to parents from India and Africa and having lived in the UK, India and now Abu Dhabi, he considers himself citizen of the world. Zaheer has a charitable heart aligned with serving others even through his business ventures. Zaheer has been practicing meditation and mindfulness at Inner Space Centre for the past 3 years.

البساطة لا تعني الفقر ولا تعني السذاجة ولا تعني ضعف الفهم أو الادارك ولا تعني الحمق لا تعني الضعف والاستسلام ولا تعني السطحية بل هي طريقة عيش تقترب أكثر لفطرة الإنسان وتكوينه حيث يحب أن يعيش بلا أقنعة أو رتوش أو مساحيق تخفي تجاعيد الزمن , يريدك أن تراه كما هو بلا تصنع أو تزييف . وعند ممارستها تحس معها بالمتعة دائماً بعيداً عن أي تكلف أو تمثيل أدوار .

البساطة تحرضنا دائماً على النظر للدنيا بتفائل وإشراق والعمل الجاد لتحقيق ما نصبوا إليه كما أنها تُلهمنا أن نلعب ونمرح ونمزح مهما كانت مكانتنا أو مناصبنا أو أعمارنا , وتزرع فينا كيف نخطف متعة اللحظة مهما كانت جداول أعمالنا مزدحمة . تعني البساطة اقتناء القليل لترك المجال فسيحا لما هو أساسي وجوهري.

We seem to have got caught up in a very status conscious world where our identities are defined and valued based on the status or position we have in society and amongst our community. There seems to be a never-ending and tiring race that we are caught up in; therefore we keep running in this race endlessly. Let’s explore our real inner status which doesn’t need us to run around and become tired.

With a degree in Sales & Marketing, Muazzam Abdul Rehman is Manager of Freight & Logistics Dept in Aramex. As a deep thinker and student of self-development, Muazzam has realized that whether in personal or corporate life, to be free from desires can be one of the greatest liberations in life. It is the basis of a feeling of contentment in his life and also of his achievements.

Mindfulness is a very popular form of awareness and stress reduction which is used in many health settings throughout the world. Enjoy a day retreat of Mindfulness which will provide you an understanding of the technique and equip you with a variety of exercises to practice in your life. From a state of pure awareness we shall then explore how to put compassion and kindness into life. You will leave refreshed and ready for positive change in your life.

Damian Outtrim lives and works in Australia. He is a Practitioner of Applied Mindfulness which he has taught in various countries around the world. Damian currently works as a Mental Health Practitioner and has studied various healing techniques since a young age. A deeply caring person Damian is committed to assisting others and has a genuine regard for all beings.
