The Inner Space Centre provides courses, seminars, lectures and workshops in meditation, positive values, stress free living and self management to individuals and companies. All of our self development activities lead to a deeper understanding of our inner being and the innate values that are a foundation to the quality of our lives. They are free-of-charge as a community service. This is because one of our underlying principles is that an individual should not have to pay for peace of mind.
Beginners Mediation Course
Our beginners meditation course aims to help you understand yourself better, change deep rooted habits and beliefs, connect with the source and learn to apply meditation practically to transform your life. The course is perfect for beginners and advanced students of meditation. Participants must attend all four (4) lessons.
We usually offer this course every month. Our evening course runs from 7.30pm to 8.30pm and our daytime courses run from 9.30am to 10.30am. If we have enough participants, we also offer the course in Arabic.
Intermediate Meditation Course
After completing all four (4) lessons of the beginners course, you can undertake our intermediate meditation course that also consists of four (4) lessons. This course offers an understanding of the effect of your positive and negative thoughts and actions on your life and the world around you. The course aims to help you to change your inner self to help change your external situations.Timings for this course are similar to those for the beginners meditation course.
Positive Thinking Workshop (2 hours)
“You are what you think!” This simple but accurate statement indicates that what we say, what we do, and what we feel all have their origin in the mind. The energy of the human mind is one of the greatest but least understood energy resources of the universe. When we understand and harness this energy, we possess the keys to happiness and contentment as well as to improving our relationships and circumstances.
Anger Management Workshop (2 hours)
One of the unhealthiest emotions is our friend anger. It has been connected with various physical ailments and it destroys our ability to think clearly. What is anger, can it be overcome and indeed should we even try? It starts with the realisastion that we do have a choice to think and feel the way we want to. This is a workshop that will teach us how to create a personal space within our self so that we have the choice to look, weigh up the situation and respond accordingly through remaining in a state of self-control.
Stress Free Living Workshop (2 hours)
Stress has been identified as a leading cause of many health problems. Largely psychological rather than physical in origin and therefore much more difficult to prevent and remedy, modern stress affects nearly all of us at some point in our lives. Stress drains our physical, mental and emotional energy affecting our efficiency and productivity. Through this workshop you will learn to:
- identify different levels of stress and rise above them to create a relaxed mind and body
- protect yourself from negative influences
- gain confidence in dealing with difficult relationships
- empower your ability to respond effectively in high stake situations.
Knowing Me Knowing You workshop (2 hours)
This workshop focuses on creating better relationships and quality customer service. How often am I deceived by my own ‘misjudgements’ about people, fully convinced that I am seeking the truth? Awareness of client needs and being able to respond in an appropriate manner often requires a non-judgemental and a non-reactive attitude. Through this workshop you will learn how to change your perspective about people and create relationships that are based on trust and respect.
Our meditation space is open every night from 7pm to 7.30pm and every morning from 9am to 9.30am.
Inner Space also offers regular advanced training to those who have completed the beginners course and intermediate course.
Inner Space regularly hosts lectures and workshops by international speakers and teachers who have many years of experience in Raja Yoga Meditation.
